Author Topic: Why do the predators on Dateline NBC get arrested  (Read 10768 times)

it's not entrapment if they're effortfully looking for 13 year olds to bang

I already sourced entrapment cases that no one read.

because they're irrelevant. just because one judge wrongly ruled "entrapment" doesn't mean that's the definition. It's only entrapment if they wouldn't have committed the crime otherwise. If it was an actual 13-year-old girl, all the perverts still would've gone to their houses to bang them. Them showing up at the house in the first place is absolute evidence of that.

yes, all of the cases where they WERE convicted are far more important

Once again guys, Tony is doing his best to bait you with a ridiculous, incorrect and stupid assertion.

These operations never fall under "entrapment" ruling as the decoys do not initiate contact, and they always act neutral towards any loveual suggestions (rather than egging them on). Most importantly, the predators have the ability to simply not come, given the length of their drives and the conversations, whereas entrapment is about forcing quick decisions before the victim can choose otherwise.

The only time the To Catch A Predator crew failed to actually get the predators sentenced was an episode in Texas, where Peverted Justice failed to supply enough evidence and so all 23 predators shown walked free.

The day I care for your irrelevant, "holier than thou", faux-passive-aggressive-gay opinions will be the same day that I pull open my shirt, expose myself as a furcigarette and shove a dragon's carrot up my arse.

I wanted to explain for the sake of SlayerZ99 and anybody else who was agreeing with the opinion of "entrapment", since it's a bad criticism that follows the show wherever it goes.

Whoa whoa whoa I never said anything about entrapment

My bad, I just interpreted this hypothetical;

What if the so called predator knew the whole operation was a sting and the person playing the 13 year old was actually 24 so in reality he was just trying to bang a 24 year old

as you trying to talk what would be considered entrapment. I've only been lightly skimming the convo since I last posted.

No I get the difference between entrapment and this show I was just curious if the person could confirm in was a sting and confirm the person they were talking to was 18 or older but they should up anyways could they actually be charged with anything at all

I need to sig this stuff

Technically? No, since everything underpins on them assuming the decoy is whatever age she says she is.

That said, the decoy won't confirm a date/location unless they're sure the predator thinks they're "underage" and has opened enough loveually explicit conversation to match a felony.
