My dell is hooked up through the DVI port (through a VGA to DVI adaptor that came with my mac mini :D) and mine also has a regular VGA port.

Also, you want anti-aliasing? kloel.

It smooths out the edges of objects. In other words, it gets rid of pixely-ness.

so thats what it does.. course it doesn't seem to work for me on the source engine :/
