Author Topic: i'm having a skin problem and i need someone's help and advice.  (Read 3715 times)

i don't know if my skin is that sensitive but i'm assuming it probably is considering i've been having this outbreak since i was 13 or 12 maybe. but thank you guys. my bed just got washed last night -i had to sleep with no sheets and it was ok- so i got that squared away.

i kept a sticky note which was noted from most of your suggestions

also another question, does my body hair or beard have any relevance to this at all?

don't think images are embeddable in sticky notes

I actually only rinse my face with cold water while in the shower (whether it be morning or night or sometimes both), but try out different things for a couple weeks. Note what works and doesn't work for you.

I hope these tips help you. I've read and spoken to so many people who have resorted to the water only regimen and have experienced overwhelmingly positive results in their skin. The best thing for you to do right now is completely turn away from all of the stuff you're using for your acne and just letting your skin take a rest.

If you do plan on using any other products like cleansers and stuff, you may want to wait a few weeks to a month to let your skin recover a bit and see how you do without products. The worst thing you could to do to your skin is use a product that doesn't work and forgets your skin up, and then switch to a new product immediately that can't even do it's job right because your skin is so forgeted up from the previous product. Acne-free skin is definitely not an overnight achievement and takes weeks to months, so I wish you luck on your journey lol

i just hate it and want to do something about it and none of what i do works because i'm getting a really really stuffty pet peeve about my skin and body hair and i don't want to believe all of it was just genetics. my mom's skin is fine and my dad's skin may be wrinkly, tan or old but i never heard a story about my dad getting a breakout. it's like an uncontrollable annoyance to me and i want it to stop and it makes me get a bit stressed and impatient. i was doing proactiv because my mom told me about it and i was interested.

i took isotretinoin and it cured my acne 100% as the doc said it would, not a single entrepreneur le for two years now
on the downside it kind of screwed my stomach up a bit (seems permanent) and in retrospect i wouldn't do it again

basically there's hardcore drugs out there like that that'll wipe out your skin problems but come at a cost
i'd go with some of the more natural solutions suggested
