Question about GTA V Steam Client

I currently have GTA V installed, but not on Steam, on the Rockstar Social Club client. If I buy the game on Steam, will I need to re-install it although it's already installed?

if you move the files over, steam will detect it and only install like 2 files instead of the full 70GB or whatever
put it in SteamApps\common\Grand Theft Auto V\<files like Installers, x64, GTA5.exe, GTAVLauncher.exe, PlayGTAV.exe>
