Author Topic: Ever Wanted To Make Add-Ons... But Don't Know How? Well I Got A Deal For You...  (Read 4302 times)

This only teaches you how to make certain types of weapons using a modelling program you happen to like.

Exactly, no scripting, just copy and paste. If all you can teach us is how to model and tell us how to Ctrl + C and Ctrl + V means this is not an add-on tutorial, but a simple modelling tutorial.

I figured out what's wrong with your bl. You obviously didn't read the "how to run bl on vista easily" topic in the help section. Go do it.

You also really shouldn't imply that you need permission for how things should look.

Well, I can probably count on less than 10 fingers the number of Blocklanders that understand Blocko style and are able to create great-looking, quality models that fit that style.  So, while I'd never suggest asking for permission before modeling, perhaps people that just don't get it yet should bring in someone that does as a "consultant on style".

Badspot, sticky this. :D

You obviously didn't watch the video, it doesn't deserve to be stickied. It doesn't teach you anything.

Heheh, "consultant on style" is the correct way to put it.

Ah, wait. You forgot to show how to make another thing: Icon. Please show us how :3

I didn't learn a thing. If you're going to spend more than half of the tutorial modeling, at least go into detail on what you're doing.
You probably already know how.
Oh, and remember kids (And adults), ask the opinion of someone famous, or knows how something should look.

Since when are people in this community famous?  I prefer the word respected developer and/or popular blocklander.  You also really shouldn't imply that you need permission for how things should look.

And this should belong in modification discussion.
I meant famous as-in known through out the community. Or known by many members, and respected.

I swear, every single thing I post that you notice, you flame all the time. I'm sure this will help someone.

I don't already know, in fact I was really hoping to learn how to make an add-on. What I did learn was how replace words in a script, that's about it. I think you should add instructions on how you made that model as well, after all you spent about half of the tutorial making it. It help a lot of people learn to use the tools in Milkshape.

1: If I were to tell how to change particles and such, it would take me quite a bit.
2: Its pretty simple to model something like that. Of course, not many people play with the vertexes to much..

Make it a multi piece tutorial, whatever you have to do to make a tutorial that really helps.

-Sigh-
I guess it wouldn't hurt to make on on how to actually make the model...

Double Post.

There Worm. I hope that helps.. a little.
