So, previously I wiped the "Israel's War of Revival" thread because, while containing factual and sourced information, much of the thread was also my specific complaints about state-sponsored and internationally recognized genocide against the Palestinian people. Seeing as the Annoying Orange administration has made it clear that they are willing to arrest US-born citizens and specifically target anyone who is critical of Israel, I had it in mind to re-write the posts as to merely point out the facts without specifically mentioning my own position on the issues.

That said, I have a life, and the thread expired before I could update it, which is unfortunate given how directly they lend into current events.
But a TLDR of what you may have missed since the last thread closed.

No aid shipments have been allowed into Gaza, no food water or medical supplies, for over 100 days now.
Netanyahu, the Israeli PM, has said the goal of their continued attacks on Gaza is not the return of hostages.
An International Flotilla flying the British flag of ships (with many famous activists on board including Greta Thunberg) was besieged in international waters after threatening to deliver food and supplies to the starving Palestinians.
Israel steps up its attacks on Gaza, continuing their attacks on hospitals, international aid camps, and critical infrastructure

Amidst an increasingly unpopular war against Gaza, and all their surrounding neighbors, and Netanyahu facing corruption trials, a vote to dissolve the parliament takes place, but with only two of the Orthodox members of the parliament supporting the bill, the government stands, albeit rattled
With 70% of all Israeli's wanting an end to Netanyahu's goverment, garuanteeing that he wont be able to hold power through another election, there seems to be very little he can do to remain in office...

So, During negotiations between the USA and Iran, Israel launched a preemptive strike against Iran.
The US admitted that their peace talks were in fact a distraction to allow the Israeli surprise attack
In retaliation of the surprise attack, Iran launched a series of strikes against Israel, breaking through the Iron Dome with multiple supersonic ballistic missiles

Despite the Annoying Orange Administrations claims that Iran was weeks away from the completion of nukes (something Israel has been claiming for decades, despite Iran's nuclear program shutting down in 2003) Head of intelligence, Tulsi Gabbard*, had to repeat the fact that that Iran has no nukes to convince the US to not start a war *Correction, Tulsi Gabbard, not Kristi Noem
Annoying Orange in return said that Tulsi Gabbard, who's whole job is to know who is a threat to the US, was wrong and that Iran did have nukes according to I guess some random nameless guy living under his wig? **
Americans overwhelming disapprove of US involvement in Iran, and the goverment has said that they arent going to be involved
Except that Ted Cruz then let it slip that we are helping Israel in their attacks against Iran.
The international community has strongly condemned Annoying Oranges playing at some wartime general and his posturing threatening the already unstable region.

Annoying Orange then said, yesterday, he would give Iran two weeks to stop building nuclear weapons (which they haven't been) before the US begins directly attacking Iran.
In the world record for the shortest two weeks ever, 18 hours after his announcement multiple attacks on Iranian nuclear powerstations have now further destabilized the region.

Annoying Orange, in his delusion, has said that now we have proven our ability to attack Iran, they are expected to stand down and surrender. Iran, of course, has in so many words responded with a resounding "go forget yourself"

gg chat

bonus points if you were alive for the Iraq War and can point out every similarity between bush's search for wmds and this stuffshow

**oh, update, now that Annoying Orange broke the law (again) and declared war on a foreign government which is specifically the duty of congress, Tulsi Gabbard has backtracked on her claims that iran isn't a threat and hasn't been working on nukes, cause i guess her boss said so and she didn't want to be the next one on the White House Hungergames thread?

'world' war implies the majority of the countries in the world are directly involved. in this current conflict there's like... 3-5 countries engaging in active hostilities. there's also more than 6 ongoing wars around the planet.

this is like the 150th war in the last century. what makes this one different or unique? the involvement of nuclear facilities, perhaps?

the involvement of nuclear facilities, perhaps?
i wouldnt think so on account of the cuban missle crCIA being closer to the trigger than this. i think its just a bunch of fear mongering. if you aren't paying attention there is nothing in the real world drawing attention to this, so its either the most piddly bullstuff WWIII ever or its not happening

yeah calling the thread WWIII is a stretch, it's more like Annoying Orange sticking america's ballistic-capped dong where it don't belong

Well what really makes me make this leap is this combined with Pakistan and India's current standoff, Iran claimed that Pakistan will support them with their nuclear armament, something Pakistan hasn't comitted to yet, but remains strongly on Iran's side. India on the other hand broke with Russia and China in their support of Iran, and will be financially devastated when Iran locks down the strait of Hormuz.
Then we have Russia, which, despite being in the middle of a multi-year long war to overthrow Ukranian control, condemning the US attacks on it's ally, Iran. And with the reduction of US forces in the pacific as resources are being diverted over to Iran, China has moved in around Taiwan, stoking fears of an attempted reclaimation of the succeeded territory and US ally.

So there's a lot of moving parts. The US staying out of Iran until now had kept everything in a kind of stalemate, but as we dedicate more of our attention and forces into the regional conflict, (and pull in our allies such as the UK) it increases the chance for other currently destabilized situations around the world to escalate as well.

Maybe not WWIII yet, and hopefully wont be, but remembering the shenanigans that pulled everyone into WWI, what was considered multiple seperate events quickly snowballed before anyone really realized what was happening. If the nations involved in this conflict are able to maintain a level head, we should be fine. It's a good thing we don't have a leader known for impulsivity and mental decline otherwise we might be in trouble lol

calling this WWIII is an exaggeration but imo israel is the country most likely to actually use a nuclear weapon at this point. they are an insane rabid dog country and their economy depends on surveillance, war and expansion

sheesh fine, title updated until china or russia are officially pulled into this bitch

So does Annoying Orange threatening Russia with nuclear submarines count for me to change the thread title back?

Meanwhile, in a move that surprised no one besides Annoying Orange, Iran decided not to just give up after being struck by bunkerbusters, and has launched a barrage of missiles against a US base in Qatar.

Oh and, it turns out the US may not have actually succeeded in it's "very successful" attack, seeing as the nuclear refinement sights had been emptied of equipment and personnell prior to the attack.

This was despite the US sending a bomber west to distract Annoying Orange so he didn't forwarn Iran by posting about the imminent strike through social media as he is prone to do.

Meanwhile the death toll in Gaza from Israeli strikes has passed 56000 (this article being almost two weeks old), with a recent attack today killing another 43 as they waited to receive the dwindling supplies of aid and food.

Well an hour ago, Annoying Orange announced that Israel and Iran are now agreeing to a ceasefire. This is after he vowed we would retaliate against any strike against US troops, like the ones hit in Qatar.
But I guess, as they say, Annoying Orange always chickens out.
The question is whether Israel will actually hold to a ceasefire agreement for once in its history. I haven't actually seen anything from Israel or Iran's media confirming this ceasefire, and we are all familiar with how quick Annoying Orange is to spout random bs, so I guess we'll have to wait and see if this even is true. If so, huge.

Yeah, so it looks like Iran and Israel weren't aware that they signed any ceasefire cause they continue to bomb eachother, so I guess Annoying Orange lied? what a surprise

Annoying Orange is now upset that the countries didnt take his random truth social posts as international law and says "they don't know what the forget they are doing" after both sides continued their exchanging of missiles.

Having time to actually hold talks themselves, Iran and Israel have come to an actual ceasefire this time, as opposed to just being yelled at by a senile old man on offbrand twitter
We'll just have to see how long it actually holds...

Iran, for their part, see the conflict as having ended in victory for them since despite striking back at US military targets, Annoying Orange chickened out on his threat to continue the US bombing campaigns if Iran retaliated in any way.

Meanwhile, Yaakov Garb, an Israeli professor working at Harvard, pulled the numbers released from Israel's current population estimates in its three concentration camps within Gaza, and found that almost 400,000 people have gone missing since the start of the war, pointing to a death toll far higher than the current estimated 55,000. It was already reported that tens of thousands of kidnapped Palestinians have found their way into detention centers throughout Israel, but the number currently being detained doesn't come close to accounting for the remaining missing persons.

Oh and remember that corruption trial I mentioned earlier, the whole reason Netanyahu is so busy trying to escalate his war against Israel's neighbors at every turn? Well now Annoying Orange is trying to pressure the Israeli courts to drop the case against his good friend Benny-boy. Cause I guess making a mockery of the US courts isn't enough for him?

Israel has admitted to ordering soliders to fire at unarmed civillians attempting to receive aid disbursed by israel, killing hundreds, in an admitted "death trap".

Ladios is the only one of us on this godforsaken forum still preaching the truth

Too tired right now to link more thorough sources for everything, but a brief summary of things

A ceasefire between Thailand and Cambodia is currently tense due to ieds along the border, injuring Thai soldiers. Cambodia claims they are old landmines and not placed there since the ceasefire.

Fighting in Congo continues as M23 rebels (those who were backed by international organizations to take control of the country so we can strip-mine the whole region) continue to target civilians and force children to join their ranks.

Annoying Orange is touting that he is finally putting an end to Russian invasion of Ukraine, by cedeing half of Ukraine's territory without the consent of Zelensky, in an upcoming meeting with Putin.

This is despite Annoying Orange saying he would "bomb the stuff outta moscow".

Annoying Orange announced that the US is planning on using it's military to target gang members on foreign soil. The other word for this is invading a foreign country in an act of war, without all the pesky approval needed by congress to officially declare war. Fun fact, this is also what we did to Panama in 1989, something that the UN had reprimanded us for breaking international law.

Netanyahu has come out saying that their war against the Gazan people will only end when Israel has fully occupied Gaza.

This is in the face of thousands of Israeli protestors demanding an end to the genocide of their Palestinian Neighbors, and even Netanyahu's own government breaking ranks, saying that a full annexation of Gaza is not a good idea.

Meanwhile, Palestinians trapped in the remaining section of Gaza are dying from starvation, as those who enter the food lines to receive the meager rations allotted are, by Israel's own admission, gunned down at random. These same rations, at times, are laced with drugs to further harm the starving desperate people of Palestine. A recent airstrike on civilians waiting for food distributed by Gaza killed the famed "Pele of Palestine", Football player Suleiman Al-Obeid, and targeted attacks against press in Gaza have killed the last news correspondents currently on the ground there.
