If it isn't an option to turn off the restrictions like stuck, float, too far, unstable, individually in V9, I think it should be modded in.
there are certain ones, like the float restriction that are absolutely INFURIATING when trying to do roofs and the like.
I can live with unstable, too loud, to far, etc. But stuck, and float, if not done away with, should at least be able to be toggled.

Float on/off toggle probably will never be made because of problems that it causes with the game.

We had floating bricks in the older, free version of Blockland. Badspot won't add this in in order to prevent Retail Blockland from being, like the older version, basically a modelling program with bricks.

That's true, but their should at least be an Editor Wand to make roofs, it takes forever to do it in Blockland now.

There is a script that disables the 'too far' message. As for the others, they don't really bother me.

As for floating, personally, I enjoy working around problems to try and find solutions that work. It's kind of cheating otherwise, and as someone already said, modelling with bricks.

Bricks can't fit in other bricks because that would majorly screw up the game. It would require alot of recoding of the way the engine draws bricks.

There is a glitch where you can make a brick float if you have a buddy. Get him to make a stack of bricks, then you place yours on top, then he clears his with /clearbricks. I dunno if floating screws up the game, really. It didn't seem to last time I saw it. Maybe it was disabled for realism. I'm not sure.

I HAVE done just that, and it did NOT mess up the game!
So far: floating/unstable placement works fine, and I have an untested one for placing on anyone else's.

Most of us don't want these brick limitations removed - It'll just take us back a step in terms of overall progress. Limitations are what adds challenge to the game, and ultimately extends its playability time.

Furthermore, The majority of Qwertyuiopas' "mods" screw up the game (not to mention the demo hack) so I wouldn't take anything he says to heart.

I think that all the restrictions should be kept the same, but how far away that you can plant bricks should be raised, its annoying (I am talking officially putting that in like in v9) without getting a mod.

There is a server pref to control the too far distance in V9 already.

Back in the day, I didn't know how to use the EW right, It was too complicated for a new person like i was.
I don't like this idea, It's just going to make building much more complicated, And a building with no EW used (Like a Retail build) I built there yesterday was considered spam!

I've kind of re-worked the way I do houses, so it's a bit easier now.
