Author Topic: Rule Suggestion  (Read 948 times)

Because of all of the new ROBLOX topics popping up, and people are acting as if an internet game has any superiority over another, I was wondering if a "no elitism" rule should be established.

Too many anti-ROBLOX and anti-Blockland topics are coming up, and are being posted by members of both communities. If the rule is used, then anyone who posts negative things about either community, new members, or any similar games would be banned for a week or two.

Also, I hope that the moderators at ROBLOX will let my post through so they can hopefully do the same thing.

Sounds like more work for Badspot.

Now...if we had more admins....

More admins with slightly more strict rules would keep these forums under control.

Only the admins are not badmins.

I actualy find Badspot does a pretty good job, usually you need multiple MOD's but he actualy allows freedom so that you don't have crazy Natzi mods jumping onto the thread and ruining the fun and entertainment right away.

no elitism is extremely vague.
the joys of interacting with others on the internet is that we disagree and pride over different things.
why not just make a rule that says "everyone be nice and get along"

Don't forget to "hold hands". :cookieMonster:

How about we educate the idiots about how posting "lulz roblox sukz!!1!" topics won't make them cool and/or popular.

Then we either:
1)try to get through to robloxians and get them to stay the hell away.(probably will fail due to moderaters ruining every attempt we make to settle our differences and the fact that roblox has 2x as many 'lolz ima become cool and/or popular by posting about how some other game sucks" noobs.
2)nuke roblox players.(most effective solution but most illegal, resource draining, and also kills the good with the bad, which isn't good)
3)teach everyone how to IGNORE ROBLOX TOPICS.(second most effective but the hardest solution(even harder than somehow managing to aquire nukes and being able to get all the roblox players in one place for nukage))
4) [MOST EFFECTIVE WHEN USED WITH ANOTHER SOLUTION SHOWN ABOVE] educate roblox players that posting topics about settling our differences leads to more attacks from morons who think they will become cool and/or popular by saying another game sucks.

And then some noob will come along after a month or two of peace and, not knowing our agreements to stay away from eachother's forums, start spamming "(lol/forget you,) (bloklnd/roblx) (sucks, rules, players)" topics thinking it will make him cool and/or popular, and we'll be fighting again, trying to get the noobs to stop posting these topics, and trying to educate them about how it won't make them cool and/or popular.

For extra credit, count the number of times I said cool and/or popular.

no elitism is extremely vague.
All of the rules have a description or an example next to it. This would, too.
