How do you usualy build

I start with a rough concept or mini-model and let it evolve from there
map it out almost exactly in my head, then build
Just build and see what it comes out to be
thinking up minor details, and then the main build
base it off things I see in real life
Design it with DM in mind

Sometimes i build based on real life structures, sometimes, i just build and see what it turns out to be.
