why would you want something that runs from USB?
normal users would want something small and simple like a zip/rar app on their comp.
compressing/uncompressed is a super processor hog. why the hell would you want to do it over slow USB?

Lol, you must be brain-damaged. Portable apps don't have to be run from a USB drive, but they can be. I have a folder of 20 different portable apps so that, if I need to reinstall Windows or go to work or another computer, it's all ready to go. Plus, when you run 7zip, it loads into system memory so your "point" about the speed of flash drives is moot.
