Wurm sucks the big, hard one. The controls are stuffty, Tutorials don't help at all, laggy as forget, and I can't walk more than 3 steps before the loving game crashes.

Wurm is one of the best game I have ever played. Excellent Crafting and sooo many features. You haven't experienced the whole game yet.

All it needs is customization, and then it's the best game (IMO).

It lagged for me, and i'm running on 3Gb RAM, Nvidia 8600 GTE. Crysis on Medium with System-Processed anti aliasing.

Uh, in the settings, just fix it up, it'll work fine.

It lags everyone when they spawn, that's why you just walk around and it'll run fine.

I played for 2 Hours, running different settings, and it STILL lagged. It's serverside Lag, not Graphical.

it's not server lag ;)
I have 1,5 ram geforce 6600 and athlon 3000+ and on medium setting have 60-80 fps in most laggy place :)
go download better java or newest drivers it usually help ;)

i have never seen a game that uses Q and E to turn. Its controls suck, you have to hold down LmouseB to freelook...it just sucks imo

Whatever, this game is for patient people. It's not like runescape where you get all this stuff to craft stuff. You actually gotta make your equipment and stuff.

So if you want to get far, you gotta be patient.

It's a great game, I'm still thinking whether or not to get back to it.

you have to hold lmb only because if you would look around just by moving mouse it would be really hard to do anything !

Actually, every time you're not facing an object it gets unloaded then when you face it again it gets loaded which is why its so laggy, server side lag is when players start jumping around the place and you can't move properly.

btw. you could have lag also because on jkhome first place is really spamed with house fences etc. ;P move away and would be good

This game is evil, I have to have all settings to lowest to be able to play it properly, and even then, it's still sometimes laggy.
