I've just got a new pc but i not got a router set up yet. So how do i port foward with a wire Connection.

I do believe a wire connection with no router requires no port forwarding as there is nothing to port forward with.

Computer shouldn't effect your port forwarding, that is purely router, if you aren't going through a router, you should have no troubles.

There is no difference in port forwarding for a wired connection vs a wireless connection. They are only different methods in which your computer connects to your router. You still need to go through the
same
steps to forward the ports to host on your computer.
