Day/Night Mod

I was wondering, is it possible to make it that every 24 minutes your map changes from day to night? That would be really cool for like RPG's.

Any ways for this actually happen?

no, that would involve a constant change of maps, and if not saved, can turn out bad. Now if you mean like the lamp in bedroom turns off, then i get that

No, not the maps changing, i mean the lights and fog in the map change after a while, not maps actually going back and forth.

seriousely, just load a dark map, make tons of lights, and have a what i call a "auto-motor" that automatically switches the lights on and off within 24 minutes

i heard from some one while on a server that you can edit the sun to get dark or bright effects.

the map's light is just changing colors, so the terrain will never have to relight (take brick lights for example)

I wish I realized this sooner :/
