Could someone make a Molotov roostertail weapon? Just throw it, and it leaves a large flame where it hit for a little while. Doesn't activate on any non-flat surface, although that's up to the creator to choose.

Idea: On impact it fires a bunch of pinball-like projectiles with a fire emitter attached, then after they live for a few secs, spawn damage radius and a lot of fire emitters around each projectile before they disappear.

How about use of the firefight mod?
Oh wait everyone thinks the firefight mod is loving horrible because the hose "rarely works" when I can hose down a fire with one click and they think the fire spreads "too quickly" when it takes about 2 seconds for it to spread.

I don't like the idea of syncing it wish firemod. Perhaps it could be optional to have the brick that the bottle actually hits to catch on fire.

I knew someone would dissagree with me. We know you don't like firefight mod. I'm the only person who likes it on the forums who likes this mod.
