Java borked

No Java app's or applet's will work on the internets. D:
Take for example, the powder game. I was going to use it this morning and it won't show up. I have the latest Java updates, and I even re-downloaded it to be sure. But it won't work.

Take note, I'm on a new computer. Is there anything I have to set to unblock it, or something?

I just tried a couple more sites and Java stuff. Nothing works.
I really think my computer is blocking Java, but I don't know what to do.

Make sure it's enabled in your browser, it should be by default but you never know.

Tools-->Internet Options-->Advanced
From there you'll see a list of check boxes, scroll down until you see Java and make sure it's checked.
