Their routers have more options (Including MAC denying, which would have fixed this whole problem simply and made my life much easier.). You can also get custom Firmware on them that works even better. So yes. Get one.

Currently there are three very popular types of Wireless. 802.11b, 802.11g, 802.11n. G is faster then B, N is faster then G.

The last time I had one, it crashed every other hour (srsly) and either I had a bad version, or my parents just got it at good will. Whichever one fits.
