Author Topic: Multiple gun/event/tool requests  (Read 833 times)

Blah. I usually don't make requests or even come to this section of the forum, so if it's been requested already let me know and I'll take it off ma list.

Weapons:


Normal sniper:

First I'd Like a sniper. I'd like it to have a few redeeming features to make it different from other snipers, and/or more realistic. (People irl with snipers don't run around shooting people in the face at close range, seriously. Although I admit I do in blockland.)

The sniper should:

-Only be shootable when not moving (using WSAD, not the mouse.)(If possible)

-Only be shootable when crouched (If possible)

-Moderately long reload time

-Multiple shots per trigger pull (To simulate shooting through objects)

-Break transparent bricks only (If possible)

-Ridiculous amount of damage

TL;DR: A sniper that doesn't work unless your still and crouching. Does massive damage and all that.


Aerial Weapon:

Another weapon I'd like to see is a weapon made specifically for planes that isn't a bomb. I realize I can use a minigun, but on laggy servers I end up shooting my plane and then it explodes and that isn't fun.

The weapon should:

-Start firing bullets 2 blockland people in front of you

-Have moderate damage (I don't want a 1-hit Kill thing that explodes and kills everything around you, but I don't want to take an hour out of my day to kill 1 player.)

-preferably a machine gun of sorts, most other guns I would assume don't work on flying things.

-only be shootable on flying vehicles

TL;DR: A gun made specifically for dog fights.


Air Gun:

Another weapon I would like to see, although not damaging, could still be considered a weapon. I would like an airgun type deal. It should have push back, kind of like the gravity gun but backwards. (and forwards?)

The gun should:

-If shot while on the ground push the player in the opposite direction

-If shot at a player push the shooting player in the opposite direction and the shot player in the corresponding direction

-have a somewhat small range for shooting players but should shoot fast (So it doesn't push a player a long ways away back while pushing you back about 10 seconds before)

-When shot in the air it should push you in the opposite direction and not reload until you hit the ground

-do no damage

-Somewhat long reload time (Long enough to prevent people from using it to get across maps in 3 seconds)

TL;DR: A gun that moves people.



Tools:

Event gun(?):
Another thing I would like to see could be added to the multitool gun. I heard it's already being created but that was a while ago. I'd like a weapon that copies the events of one brick and lets you distribute those events among other bricks. Like copying events and adding them to other bricks, but faster. (I heard other people asked for a way to copy events on a brick and then paste them on the same brick, but that would be useless to me.)

TL;DR: Copies events from brick to brick.



Destructo Hammer:

This really doesn't need to be made, at all. But since I'm requesting things I might as well mention it.
For a while I've been wondering why mods need to use a destructo wand to delete other peoples' things. They can use the destructo wand already, so why should it matter if they use the hammer to do it? Honestly, I don't kill other peoples' spam at times just because I'm too lazy to get out the destructo wand. So I'd like a hammer that you have the option of starting with that, when you're an admin, can delete anyone's bricks. Pointless sure, but... Well it's pointless.

TL;DR: Lets lazy admins destroy peoples' bricks without going into the admin menu.



A print GUI:

I think there should be some sort of print GUI that shows all the prints your server has, and lets you forbid or allow certain prints from being used. It's not that complex of a concept really. If a good scripter made it so you could draw your own prints in the GUI though, that'd be epic.



Events:


Chain Relay Event:

An event I would like to see in blockland would be a chain relay event. This would not technically save time, since if you needed to put relay events on bricks anyways you'd have to copy/past events, but it would cut down on the amount of events you needed. The way I picture it working is something like On Activate -> Brick -> fire chain relay (direction) And it would hit all bricks in that direction till it stopped hitting bricks.

TL;DR: Shoots a relay that doesn't stop till it can't hit any more bricks.



Projectile spiral events:

I don't know why but I think projectile spiral events would be awesome. An event where when a brick is shot, it redirects or bounces back the projectile in a certain direction but spiraling. You could make some really cool evented effects with this I think.




Anyways, I'm not even sure most of these are possible or original. Just throwing my ideas out there for people to look at. :3 Also for the record I hate TL;DR. (Also sorry for the massive post. :x In the future should I post requests in multiple topics?)

those were great ideas and you actually explained them instead of belting out what you thought would be cool in a random order.

It'd be epic if some/one of these were made though. (Preferably the air gun, just because having a "super jump" type deal would be cool for DM's)
