Author Topic: Adding Colors  (Read 2556 times)

Is ther e special location it needs to be saved in?
When i put it in my add-ons folder to use it didn't show up in game.
I'll check for errors but I don't think I will find any.

You need to save the Colorset.txt in this map:
XP or lower:
C:\ProgramFiles\Blockland\Config\Server
Vista:
C:\Blockland\Config\Server

It will overwrite an other file but accept it

And the colorSet_Name.zip
Whit "Colorset.txt" and "description.txt" in it just in the add-ons map

Bold=don't understand
-So we overwrite the colorSet with the new one but also add the zip into the add-ons folder?
I tried that and no luck.
Also, what is map and the XP or lower?

XP or lower stands for:
Window XP or lower (like Windows 2000, ME, 98, 95 ,...

Okay but what about the rest of the stuff I didn't understand...

So for when we put the colorset.txt in the server map.
Do we overwrite the original?
Or just add it?

Thats shuts down the game.
When I try to start a server or even a single player game it shuts BL down with no warning.

then you have something misstyped
maybe a 256 or 522 or something realy stupid, but it cannot run a color that doent exist
look realy good at your file, it has to be in there somewhere

I couldn't find anything. I PMed you a copy of the file to see if you can find it.

Maybe try to copy the colors you added into a new default colorset
if it isnt that check it that the name is this: colorSet.txt
if that isnt the problem either, then I m out of things srr

I'll try that.
Did ya see the PM?

Yes and I coudnt find annything myself

Thanks for the help.
I might update in the future.
