You probably mashed the keyboard and got it to work, I remember I got Duke Nukem working Some how.
According to my father, I memorized the locations and order of the buttons he pressed, understanding what they actually did was another story.

I can't believe Wolfenstein 3D doesn't get respect for being the oldest shooter.

I give it credit for being the first FPS, but the main reason is because it was upgraded to the DOOM Engine.

Actually, I did. My father bought the game, and while he was at work I, apparently, broke out of my crib and got DOS to boot it (After watching him do it, obviously).
When I was 3 I somehow managed to drive my mother's car to a nearby store and buy a bottle of whisky.'

Also I don't like this game. The graphics are bad, the gameplay is boring, and I just don't see a point in still playing it when you could play any other FPS.

I am bumping to say that Catacomb 3D and Hovertank 3D came first.
