Author Topic: Getting a new computer  (Read 805 times)

After months of waiting just to find out again that they couldn't find a suitable mother board for my old laptop and using the family computer (which sucks for gaming by the way) I've decided to get a new one. Any advice as to what laptops are good for gaming/which one to get?

Build your own.

Get a desktop unless you actually need a laptop.

Takes to long to build my own, and I know nothing about it. And yes, I need a laptop.

It only took me like an hour and a half to build mine, not knowing what the hell to do.

I'm not sure about cost-effective laptops, though. Sony overprices theirs through the roof, so I wouldn't look to them.

if i needed a decent budget laptop i would just grab an HP
and i would never spend less then 800-1k on prebuilt laptop.
