Author Topic: Massive lag.  (Read 653 times)

I had just reinstalled Blockland yesterday and now I'm having horrible lag problems. For instance, I was on a server with just 364 bricks and I lagged like hell and it made my Blockland non-responsive. So, why is this?

Turn down some of your graphical settings, and try again.
If that doesn't help, come back.

Was this 364 brick server the only server you connected to? It could have just been filled with vehicle spam.

No, I've tried it on my server also. There wasn't any vehicles in either server.

And no the graphics thing didn't do any difference.

Double post and bump.

Here's the Computer details;

Windows Vista Home Premium
Intel Pentium Dual CPU E2180 @2.00GHz
3.00 GB RAM
NVIDIA GeForce 8500 GT

And I have reinstalled Blockland atleast Five times, so I seriously have no clue what to do. Any help that works will be Greatly appreciated!

HA, I knew that video card was a peice of stuff. I had that exact one and it lagged horridly so I got a new one. :3

A similar thing happened to me. Whenever I look at the ground in certain maps, I get serious lag. It only started happening a little while ago, and nothing can change it quality-wise.

So, basicly get a new Video card, or deal with horrid lag? That sucks.

Meh, Later I found out that the video card wasn't really the problem. I still have my new card it doesn't lag "As Much" but i have no idea what it is. These are my specs

So, if it's not the video card, what is it?

Try updating your Video card, also make sure the video card hasn't killed it self.

also make sure the video card hasn't killed it self.
Woops, accidentally hit post button.

When buying a new card get something cheap and good like an 8600 GT. They're cheap and they work well.
