Author Topic: Torque Script Tutorial Recommendations?  (Read 6116 times)

I'm going to start learning how to write torque. I've looked for some tutorials, but I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations.
Thanks.

While I was looking around, I found a program called "Codeweaver."
Has anyone tried this out? If so, is it any good?

I recommend you just look at other Add-Ons for most of the basic stuff.
Just don't start with a weapon or reference failed / unpopular Add-Ons.

Also, you can script in Notepad, but most use Notepad++. (I use EditPad.)

Read though the script - I learned a lot from it.

The Game Programmers Guide to Torque is a great book for learning Torque Script.

It's ok. I think it would be better for actually making a game with Torque.

NotePad++'s Shop at the website made me lol.

A good scripting program for mac users is Unitron, a scripting program that comes with Unity for free.
