You all remember the sidescroller mod, right? I miss it and I was was wondering if anyone had plans on updating/remaking/porting (with permission :P) it.

I had a really cool Mario build going on but I scrapped it because there's no sidecroller anymore. :C

It was the 2D player type, and from what I know, it's not at the top of Space Guy's "to do" list.

EDIT: Loved that mod.

The player camera horizontal tilt doesn't work properly I think he said.

I couldn't agree more. I love the idea of it, but how it worked was horrible. Jumpy and stuff.

.. Which is why I am not porting it. I looked for alternate ways to do this effect, but I couldn't find anything with the player datablock. I can make it place the camera to your side (as in the Survivor player type, but more so), but I cannot tilt it horizontally to actually face you, making it useless.
