It can do quite a lot. I got a laptop a while ago equipped with an 8800M GTX, Intel T9500 @ 2.6ghz (dual core processor), and 3 gigabytes of RAM. The 8800M GTX is far superior to an 8400 GS, unlike what RW said. It is more powerful than my custom built desktop. Also, this costed a lot less than $4,000.
Still far from the big leagues my friend...very far. Desktop GPU's offer significantly higher performance/price ratios.
Vista is an OS, you RAM and video card have nothing to do with the way an OS runs...
I'm guessing its something to do with the biological interface aka YOU
I have an intel express chip on my laptop, and it sucks hard.My laptop also becomes a hot brick after a while too.EDIT:Not true. RAM can make it faster (or if its corrupt, won't boot at all), and if you have improper video drivers it may cause display problems on the OS.
