Because Obama is president of Korea.

I doubt North Korea would nuke any country who has nuke.
Nuke+Nuke=No nuclear war.
Give one, get one back.

Nope.

tl;dr version: Kim obviously wants stuff, he's got a rocket which needs to be tested. He's either testing the waters with Obama and the South's President Lee, or he's getting ready to ask "I got a missile, what will you give me for it?". His country makes nothing of use to the rest of the world, except rocket parts and tested missiles. Missile technology, specifically rockets are not traded in other countries due to the fact everyone is well connected now. Kim's an arms merchant and has the ability to sell these parts to other rogue states because he doesn't have any obligations not to.

If you followed what I said in that last post, I forgot to mention that N. Korea needs to keep maintaining its relevance to the world.

For example a similar situation might be Cuba, it used to be relevant in the Cold War with it's ally the Soviet Union and the stockpile of nuclear missiles, but now it has nothing and it's not relevant to the US.

Plus their damn rocket went into the drink anyway. Big woop.

What can they gain from relevance? I have no idea myself honestly, just curious

Food, medical aid, oil, machinery. They don't have any industry, and it's like a child acting up to get a toy.

That's a tad watered down but it's the basic principle of what they are after, and it's Kim's work to make him seem like he's not to be ignored.
