I meant I want to know if it's good before I DL it. Should I play HL1 and stuff first?

It's not part of the series, don't expect a full game (it's only one map). It's a tech demo from a removed portion of HL2, where commentary illustrates the source engine. I find it useful for its garry's mod content.
