Author Topic: Dreamed a Memory  (Read 1353 times)

Ok, I had a dream about this island. We had a party and then Earthquake, evacuate island or die yadadda. But, In that dream (after I woke up) I felt like that wasn't my first dream about that island. I think I dreamed a memory of another dream that never happened. This is weirder than sleeping and dreaming in a dream.

You had a second dream about something?

That happens a lot to me.

No, along with the memory of what happened in the dream. For a split second RIGHT before the dream started I saw like 5 other dreams about the island.

This has happened to me countless times, it's very strange.

Damn you brain.

Done it before.
Ever had a dream of just a short clip and then remembered it in the future and actually seen the same thing?
That's creepy, and it's happened to me.

What I think is wierd is when you have a dream, and you hear sounds from real-life in your dream.

What is even eerier is how your dream can somewhat "predict the future" so that your dream can go along with whatever sounds you hear.

Also, My dad had a dream then, he saw the same events that happened in his dream sohe knew the future and what was going to happen if he did a certain thing.

im literally psychic, i hve dreams about something and it happens next day or 1-4 days after the dream i just call it dej'a vu

your dreams are actually about 65% influenced by what you see and think before falling asleep, and sound can affect it when you are sleeping. for some reason, if you are asleep, during a tv show, if you hear it, your dream seems to create an awkward storyline that goes with the sound but dosen't make much sense. and, for some reason, all events seem tied together. also you can control dreams by simply imagining something happening, although i've never done it because usually i don't realize i'm dreaming.
tl;dr- don't think about or see scary crap before sleeping.

All i was doing was looking at the Gmod creations thread 1 hour before going to sleep.

I tend to lucid dream alot :p

I tend to lucid dream alot :p

I know sound can affect them one time i was watching Family Guy-on adult swim and i fell asleepwith the TV on and i had a dream about fighting an aligotor when i woke up there was a little kid show on and he was scared to fight an aligator. I was like stuff!

I have a lot of "sequels" to dreams. I dunno why.

I had a dream that I went fishing and there was a huge rock in the center of the lake with a big spike on it. I smelled something awful and noticed a gigantic brown fish impaled on the spike (about twenty feet long.) I have had this same dream before, and similar ones, too.
