Erasing Data on Steam

I got Hl2 on Steam and I accidentally F***ed up the game. I was messing with "noclip" and then I got Chapters 1-6 (I already finished the game on xbox 360) but now the first chapter doesn't work and all the other chapters won't open. So I deleted the game and re-installed it hoping in vein that my data would be gone, but it wasn't. How do I erase my data?

You did erase it, Your games messed up, delete it, Check for any folders left over and check registery

Go to your steam folder, go to steamapps, your username, then delete the HL2 folder.
