For those of you who haven't read the comics, I'm going to summerise it:
The 6 Toa washed up on the beach, didn't know eachother. They learned about eachother and learned that they needed to save Matai Nui (Their god) from Makuta (Their devil), they had to each get the 6 masks of power. Tahu's was for protection, Levi's was for flight, Gali's was for breathing underwater, Ouna was for strength, Pohatu was for speed, and Kauna (Can't remember his name) was for X-Ray vision. They find all 6 masks (then their mask turns golden) and defeat him (kinda). Then the Ba-... Whatever those round guys are, come and the Toa have to beat them. It's hard, but they find out they can win if they kill the queens. They go underground and get these exo-skeleton things and beat the queens. They get transformed and have new masks and weapons and are heros. Then the 6 Rahi show up. The toa manage to beat them somehow and find out that Makuta is still alive. They find the mask of life and find the toa of life (Not sure what his name is) and tell him to go down and kill Makuta. He gets on his awesome motorcycle and flys off into a cave. Then things get weird. He wins and comes back up and find out they aren't the first toa. The tribal leaders were the first and they go into a flashback that spans 3 different transformations (Obviously to keep the toys selling). Then they manage to make it so that there are some toa that live underwater and find this awesome mask. All of a sudden they are in this swamp. They fly through the swamp and win somehow. Then lego drops the whole thing and starts up the new one. They should have quit when they were ahead and stopped after they had defeated Makuta with the toa of life.
TL;DR: Started great, ended horribly confusing.
