The F-18 is old and sucks.
Pretty much EVERY new vehicle has an emitter of some sort.
Someone should just redo the F-18 with a tail emitter and wing emitters like the stuntplane.

No. It's not. It has thrust vectoring. It allows the thrust to 'turn' if you will, different directions to make tighter turns and easier maneuvers. The F-35 MIGHT have vertical take-off but that is still in the future. Guess what, I didn't use search for any of this. I am basically a nerd when It comes to Military/ Guns/ weapon crap. But ya. F-22 Raptor, IMO, is overrated. Although it is good, it's too good so far. It's a fighter that goes too fast and ya. It has implied many things that are not needed for a fighter. Go back to F-16's.
