Already a thread, but it's old, so eh.
Gold is good enough for me. Remakes aren't always good. Take fire red/leaf green. Not as classic of a feel.

The newest of the pokemon games that I liked was Sapphire/Ruby, you've had more choices than the other games. The rest of them were just the same.

And as someone said in the last topic, I hope they get rid of the red gyrados encounter, it will make it easier and not as rare to get.
