Author Topic: Loose objects.  (Read 450 times)

I have been studying blocklands physics. when you destroy a brick it goes flying and rolls a little till it stops.

Is it possible to make a object. like crates or somthing that can be kicked around or shoved?

Almost like vehicles yet somehow that vehicle most of the time manages to get back on its wheels.

I think about this a lot.
"If we have the uncolliding brick's awsome physics, why not just make it collide and not dissapear until told to?"
Any way to do this?

This would be possible if it was a physics vehicle (ex: Companion Cube). But, it would always shake around and it would catch fire when it was destroyed.

RigidObject. Badspot didn't put it in the engine. Would be fun to have.

Because those physics bricks are clientsided. For collision we'd need server-sided physics bricks, which would more than likely add a lot of lag.

yeah i guess your right :(
