I believe not.
If it's a console game, try it, if it's a computer game, see if you can make an account on the site and check if it asks for a form of payment.

Oh, wait. It says here "Superior online multiplayer options for up to 4 players via Network Adaptor – no additional subscription fees required (players must provide their own internet connection and PlayStation 2 Network Adaptor for online gameplay modes)."........No additional subscription fee?Doesn't that mean I just buy all the needed stuff(internet connection for ps2 and stuff and game) and I can play free4ever??

Means that you do not have to pay anything to play the game online, as long as you provide a connection from your PS2 to the Internet.

The Nyko kit comes with an ethernet cable. Only thing I found interesting about it.
