1. for some odd reason I can't go through doors when I test them, I can open them but I can't go through them I decided to cope with a sliding door

2. Lights always make the w_models and the v_models very white and shiny Yuki fix'd it
I'll lock after the problems have been solved

for 1. use the other door model, the one you're using wasn't designed for player use.
(Isn't it called door1_left or something?)

Source Software Developers Kit. Make maps and stuff for Half Life 2, Team Fortress 2 and Counter Strike: Source with it. It's really rewarding when you learn how to use it well.

Ahh. I doubt I'll ever really need it... Could be fun to play with though.

It handles spheres better then constructor that's for sure.

2. Your cubemaps/reflectionmaps are somehow forgeted. Place env_cubemaps strategically. Also, be sure you have a light_env.
