Author Topic: My thoughts on N+ For the DS:  (Read 639 times)

Well, This is going to be kind of a "review" thing, Just to rant about the game.

N+ Is the retailed console version of the flash game N by Metanet, The flash game got a lot of reputation and was turned into a console game.

The one I own is the N+ for the DS.
Things I liked about the game:
Controls- Very comfortable, Easy to play the game.
Options and unlockables- The game comes with unlockable bonuses like new colors for the ninja and level packs.
You can also change the game textures to the classic flash game textures.
Mapeditor- Quite easy to use, Very enjoyable, You can save and share them.
Multiplayer- Very amusing, Many types of gamemodes.

Things I didn't like:
Amount of maps- There are 40 episodes and every episode has 4 maps; The original had 100 episodes with 4 maps thus, It was a short game.
Community option- Doesn't work, Apparently, Atari was supposed to take over server control for the community option but it failed, So were stuck with a game with no sharing options.

Conclusion: I liked the game, It was enjoyable but it was too short.
Overall I give it an 8.2/10

I hope you enjoyed my thoughts and please comment.

EDIT:
One last thing:
"Should I buy it?": Yes, Its a great game and no doubt stands up to the original but again, It could use more levels.

N+ on the DS? Ok, sure it only has 40 episodes, but that's still good for on the go.
