Well, then you couldn't make threads for a video you made, etc. Then again, you could get a good screenshot of one of the scenes, like its Youtube thumbnail. Good idea :P

On tinypic, you can make videos as a GIF file. I think, anyway. So yes, smf could technically sustain videos.
