Author Topic: Any particular reason I can't add my deathmatch bots to minigames anymore? (Read 965 times)

The question says it all. I have a working deathmatch bot and when I tried to load it up just now I go a big fat error that only GameConnections or something are allowed to be added to minigame groups.

What the hell do you care what I add to my script object? Get out of my server already. [/rage]

I believe that's new to v13. One way around it is having bots be vehicles. But that doesn't work too well.

Of course it's new to v13; nothing else in the patch pissed me off enough and badspot had a quota to fill. Honestly I'd prefer the freedom we had in v7 to all of the improvements combined.

He took them out because of console spam on the clients whenever they open f2. Though he could've just made it so it only sends data from real clients...

I use semicolon instead of F2 because my old keyboard had no F2.

I'd normally use tab, but it seems toggle first person has taken that place in this game.

Minigames with things other than clients could break a lot of other mods. Give them an AIConnection or something.
