6th grade i went to chicago and tons of other places
I live there. :D
Anyway, I remember in 4th grade I was driven on a coach to a camp for three days, with Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, and Midnight Theatre. (with popcorn) We also went on a 7 mile hike, went looking for fish in the lake, and we had a coach back. 'tis was epic.
5th grade wasn't very special. Trip to the Science and Industry museum of Chicago.
This year, in 6th grade, I'm going to the museum again. But there's a totally new and badass exhibit. It's about the human body. 'tis called YOU, the stuff includes:
A Heart that beats with yours
What you will look like in 30 years
Preserved organs
And a mind game thing. This is basically where you sit at a table, and you hook up a helmet to your head. A person on the other side will do the same. The basic goal is to NOT think at all. If you think, it will come toward you. If your partner thinks, it will come to them. Whoever is touched first is ejected from the game. 'tis be fun, but only 60 of the 120 5th and 6th graders are going. The teachers decided that whoever gets the top 60 scores in the Science Fair out of the 120 kids in both grades will go.
