No. You have three choices when playing an online game in Left 4 Dead and Left 4 Dead 2.

• Official Dedicated: Use one of Valve's dedicated servers best available to all players.
• Best Available Dedicated: Use the best dedicated that can be found and provides good connection to all players.
• Local Server: You (lobby leader) host the server.
