Author Topic: Smoke Grenade scripter needed.  (Read 1175 times)

I used to be able to make basic models on Sketchup, and I have decided to make a smoke grenade and start small.
Unfortunately, I use a mac, so MS3D and Blender are not available to me, so I cannot make mount points (Or can I?), although animation is possible.

If anyone can do me a favor, and PM me a script for a smoke grenade, I can have a model done soon.
May post pictures once I get some of the detail done.

Mmk, got almost the can of the grenade done, see attached files.
Sketchup is being a cigaretteot and not letting me extrude the yellow cylinder out twice, Ill fix soon.
As for its hollowness, When I created the slight indent for the yellow label, it flipped out and deleted all inside shapes. Damnit.

I think I know how I could fix it. Should I keep all the colors gray for now?

I guess, Just delete the damage part, is there a way I could get the smoke to be more of cloak so you cannot see through it?

How do you rewrite datablocks?

No need to make this its in my pack. Practically done.

I'm not making a smoke grenade because I want one, its because Its a fairly basic model to start off with, and I have always wanted to make my own add-on :3


RTB 1.x has a Smoke Grenade, want to use that so you can mess with it's scripts and stuff?

I got Bushido's Bouncy rubber smoke grenade from the archives.
Could try replacing some script parts.
I hated that Bouncy bit.

The model is too round and too fat.
