Author Topic: I just bought Half-Life: Complete  (Read 677 times)

I just bought Half-Life: Complete with some of my birthday/christmas money. After playing G-mod I've been so curious of the games story so I figured I have money to spend and there's the holiday deals going on.
Is the game worth the ~$40 I spent on it?

What kind of question is that? of course it is!

Yes.
Synergy's fun too if you have friends who want to play through HL2 with you.
Also Sven Coop which is the Synergy of HL1 but better.

well that's good to know

lol I bought it when it was $16

The complete pack was $16 :o when?

ABSOforgetGINGLUTELY: Play HL1 before HL2. It's hardly for story, but if you play HL1 first A) You can appreciate the graphical improvements from 1 to 2, and B) It's a lot easier to play through. It's hard to step backwards from the graphics of HL2 to HL1.

nooooooo

Besides, you don't so much play Gmod as you experience it.

I don't have a problem with adjusting to stufftier graphics I went from Oblivion to Morrowind just fine.

Also it came with Half-Life: Blue Shift and Half-Life: Opposing Force which would come first? or are they completely unrelated.

Half life should come before Opposing Force and Blue Shift.

The story lines are supposed to have happened all at the same time but I still think you should just play Half Life first.

Alright, just making sure there wasn't some sequent order to do them in.
