I'm not sure if this is the right section to post this, but Sothink SWF Quicker, an alternative to Flash, is available free today only from GOTD! It even supports actionscript (as far as I can tell the syntax is identical)

Why would anyone want this when flash is fr---- only costs hundreds of dollars?
