I think the reason roblox got away with it is because in blockland, if you look at the horse, the spear, some special bricks, etc, They are very lego-esque. Roblox depends on everything to made of pieces instead of the developers 3D models unlike this game.
The pelican can be made by a player and imported to blockland because he is not making money off it. But if bad spot was to use that pelican as a default, i'm sure that might be illegall.
I wonder what game would have been made if badspot signed with lego...
No, Blockland is illegal, we stole copyrighted decals from 4chan and playertypes and vehicles from Roblox.
We also stole our maps from gmod.
This game is VERY illegal.
I don't think you can steal vehicles from roblox. The player vehicles have no copyright. Idk about the 4chan decals tho I don't see how he can copyright them seeing as most of them are from other media sources. (yaranika, katz)
As for gmod, don't we just use the gmod itself rather then "stealing" pre made maps? And again, even if we did, are these maps protected by copyright?
