Author Topic: Vista Sound Mixer Problem  (Read 563 times)

This is basically what my sound mixer looks like. Basically, it's showing the wrong font for most programs (but switches back to the font that's supposed to be there if the program title switches, example: STEAM). There's also the problem of the random grey/black boxes around the adjusters (which, for some reason, two appear)

This is what it's supposed to look like.

Anybody know any way to fix this?
Serious answers only please, I'm not taking "Switch to Windows 7" as an answer, I'm not starting clean either (since this is a clean install).

This happens to me often, too.

Though it only happens when I'm alt+tab'd from a game, I still find it pretty irritating.

Yeah, it persists even after restarting, and it makes all my volume controls freak out if I try to touch them, which is very, very irritating (I have to rely on my keyboard for volume most of the time, and sometimes it won't work either!)

So I'd really love to have this fixed.
