I have yet to have problems with my Mac, though I know it is possible. Most of you probably haven't had much PC troubles, but your PC be troublesome.
I'm an intelligent person, I can recognize when my computer isn't operating like it should. I think it's funny how people always post pictures in Mac vs. PC threads yet rarely propose an intelligent argument supporting their opinion.
Here, I'll give you five big reasons PCs are better than macs.
Versatility.PC runs on just about any system ever, and they don't lock there OS down to their own hardware. Hell, I don't even think Microsoft
makes computer parts. They even allow their OS to be run on Apple's hardware (which is another point all in its own, if Macs are so damn great why do you need boot camp?)
Compatibility.Windows runs more software, period. Windows is compatible with more hardware. For every program that is written exclusively for the Mac, Windows probably has hundreds of variations of the same software. Some professional by major companies that cost bookoo bucks, some by indie developers for $10 and probably a lot of freeware. Also, I shouldn't need to mention games but Windows runs thousands if not hundreds of thousands of games. The games that can be run on a mac are eclipsed thousandfold by the ones that can be run on a PC.
Ease of use.Yeah I said it. I think PCs are easier to use than Macs. This may be a more personal thing, but if you're willing to invest two seconds of brain usage into the learning how to use a PC, then it will work just as fine as your mac. "Everything just works", you make me sick. Besides, a great deal of Mac vs PC ads on TV are based on PCs as they were 5-10 years ago, or when you buy a PC through a store like Best Buy. A lot of the problems with PCs are problems only for the lowest common denominator of PC users.
Power/Price Ratio.Even buying prebuilt, you can get a computer that is way more powerful than a Mac, and if you decide to build your own computer, than you can destroy Macs in specs. I mean, the cheapest iMac is $1200. With that kind of money, I could build a computer that would be able to max several current games at once.
Peripheral Interface.Projectors. Monitors. Keyboards. Mouses. Cameras. You name it, and it will work better with a PC than it does with a Mac. For everything that you would expect a normal PC to hook up with, there is a $20 ($50 if it's an official Apple peripheral) to let your Mac hook up to it.
Good?
