Author Topic: Is Crysis even that fun?  (Read 2767 times)

It was technologically ahead of its time, but it suffered from a poorly written, cliche, storyline, and overly linear gameplay. The characters were barely developed and in a fashion reminiscent of the CoD series, most squad mates are memorable only for screaming orders at you down a radio. The latter portion of the game featured annoying enemies (hovering alien squid) in a graphically uninteresting environment (ice on everything).

The different selectable powers were an interesting feature but aren't enough to make up for the previously mentioned shortcomings.

I applaud your eloquence, and I agree wholeheartedly.

I actually really enjoyed the multiplayer of Crysis, although I haven't tried Crysis Wars.

Isn't the recommended only like an 8800?
Back when Crysis first came out that was like a GTX 280

Pretty much Farcry with better graphics.

I always liked the idea of being able to change from my assault scope to my red dot in an instant, and the large levels allowed for some pretty good tactics if you were coordinated with your teammates (never in a pub)

Crysis is loving fantastic for private 32 player games, but not for pubbing.

Crysis is a fun game. It definitely makes you feel a little bit stronger than most people, giving you just an edge.

I only recommend it if you have the computer for it. It isn't worth it at all in any way shape or form if your computer can't run it even near decently.
