Author Topic: Temporary damage playertype  (Read 940 times)

Just like...
you know...
i hate to say this...

MW2.
BUT ONLY because that's the only example I know of.

A player type that slowly regenerates health after a few seconds of not being attacked. Perhaps change in speed of recovery through preferences.

Instead of the screen going red on receiving damage, it would get harder to see the more hurt you are, and once you start recovering, it gets clearer.

Would this be possible?

I just get tired of waiting until the screen clears up, then forgetting about my health and getting killed by a single bullet a few minutes later.

Ibans health bar should be default or something.

Also isn't there already a health regenerating player?

-snip-
I like the idea. But there should be a pref about if you want the red screen thing on or off, because some people might want the regen bit, but not the red screen.

EDIT: And maybe turn the regen bit too. Cause you might want the red bit but not the regen.

Brothers in Arms 2 has this.

Modern Combat: Sandstorm.

Pretty much most FPS games have this.

We got the portal player on RTB.

Ibans health bar should be default or something.
Didn't Badspot say something about some people getting intense about seeing their health bar go lower?

you could use VCE and setdamageflash

Medic Playertype regenerates health.
