Well i know now is not the time to worry about this, but i would like to know what school i plan on going after i graduate. I am looking to get my Bachelors in game design. and i am trying to find one close to north Dakota in the USA. I don't need the best i just need one close to north Dakota that is pretty decent. Any help?

Before going to college in the US, learn english please.

If I remember hearing correctly in interviews with Game Developers, Game Developing colleges are basically only there to build a portfolio. They don't give you any special qualifications, it just helps you have stuff to present and hope they accept you.

Yes. Most game developing stuff can be learned at home through just doing your own stuff. Game developing colleges just task you to things and help you collect all your work and stuff so it may be easier to present to the game developing companies. But you could just self learn all the stuff at home just as fast, and without being forced into specific projects and due dates, and collect enough stuff to be accepted by companies.

Personally, I'd be happy being the guy who helps sorta around the place than tasked to get that new Big Daddy texture done by 5 o'clock.

The good schools will give you important connections, as just as it is in any entertainment thing, it matters more who you know than what you know.
