Author Topic: should vce be default  (Read 2392 times)

VCE will never be default. Badspot despises the add-on.

Wait, he does? I don't see how, because I use it for quite a bit of things. You could probably make a cityRP with nothing but that add on. o_o

VCE shouldn't be default as well as the reason for then it couldn't be updated easily

Tom

Variables is basically cheating. Print counts and projectile machines look better for "this is how I made a breakout game" or whatever.
I agree.

That's a LOT of eventing you gotta do then.

Although using prints and projectile machines is usually far more impressive, there are some things you simply cannot do with those alone. However, I don't think VC events should or will become default.

Yeah, but it would be extremely hackable.
Not to mention that if someone doesn't know the correct cash name, everyone else is forgeted

I agree, although VCE does have its advantages.
However, it's not an addon which should be default because not everyone likes it, and some people really hate it, including badspot apparently.

No way. People should be given the freedom to download the mod. Especially with the high amount of people who dislike it. It's for complex things, not simple things, which is what default add-ons should be for.

No.

The new VCE is totally forgeted up, I liked the old one and kept it.

The new VCE is completely fine. You obviously just don't know how to use it.

I used to think it should but after reading your guys' posts, I realize that they have a point and it shouldn't be; it is abusable.

Maybe if it were edited, then it might be.

Any addon's abusable with the correct know-how.
