Author Topic: Blender won't make meshes  (Read 752 times)

I have a weird problem. When I try to add a mesh, nothing will happen. Really, I can't spawn anything at all. Does anyone else have this problem?

I think asking on the blender forums would prove better results than here where almost everyone uses milkshape.

Where is your cursor (the target-like thing; almost seems like a crosshair) when you try to spawn? It may be out of the visual scope of the window, or it may be so small you cant see it.

The white and red cicle like thing is where meshes and other things are spawned.

If it's not in visual you can't see it but the stuff is spawning, just far away.

Opening a new blender should fix this.

Bump. Also, I have it in the area, I can see it. When I try to spawn a Plane, it will say "Plane.001" in the bottom left corner, but there will be no Plane in the area.

spawn a cube mah boi

I use blender because it's free and better then Milkshape, IMO.

What did badspot say about people not liking things they can't afford, again?

I can't spawn anything, I used Plane as an example.

spawn it and use the middle wheel button to rotate around it if you don't see it maybe you should reinstall blender

I'll re-install then. Your first advice didn't work.

It works now, but not because I re-installed. I asked on Blenderartists.org and I got the help I needed. Thanks anyway.
